Exploring Montana De Oro State Park

Have you had the pleasure to visit the coastal beauty found at the Montana De Oro State Park? Many people have lived in San Luis Obispo County for half their life and haven’t had the opportunity to really enjoy all of the scenic locations here on the Central Coast. Whether you’re looking for a place to take some gorgeous shots of Morro Rock or of the Los Osos bay to just taking a hike and enjoy the day. This location is just breath taking for all kinds of activities and I have found it to be one of my personal favorites for photography. Even on the hottest of days here on the Central Coast this is a great location to hide out in the lush trees and catch the coast breeze while enjoying the views and wild life.

One blogger that I have really enjoyed following for new potential photo shoots and ideas is Mamma Quail. The author shares about her trail experiences with photos and person life experience from a variety of locations throughout California. One particular blog that Mamma Quail posted about Montana De Oro. The variety of photos she was able to capture really gives you a great insight on what you can expect when visiting the state park.

Father Son Tribute Session

I recently had the pleasure to take some very memorable photos of a father and son in the spirit of Veterans Days. Casey, an 11 year veteran to the US Army and a proud father to an amazing 2 year old. This duo is a little out of the ordinary with their matching crooked pinky’s that they inherited from Casey’s grandmother. Capturing moments like these really warm my heart to share such a unique bond between father and son.
